CarTrawler Creates 23 New Jobs at Dublin Office

CartrawlerIrish firm CarTrawler, the global car-rental marketplace, is looking to fill 23 vacancies this week at the World Travel Market in London, UK. The roles are for its office in Dublin City, and will include R&D, engineering and customer service positions.

CarTrawler’s HR director Gillian French told Siliconrepublic.com the company is hoping to meet potential candidates for the roles at the World Travel Market.

Brothers Greg and Niall Turley founded CarTrawler in 2004, branching out from a family business called Argus Car Hire. The company’s headquarters are in Dublin.

In 2011, the UK private equity firm ECI Partners invested in CarTrawler, reportedly taking a 50pc stake in the company.

Greg and Niall Turley moved to non-executive positions on CarTrawler’s board of directors at the time.

The company has developed a technology platform to distribute car rental through multiple routes to market on a global basis. International partners include Virgin Australia, Emirates, Starwood Hotels, American Express, FlightCentre and Skyscanner.
