The awards extend across a broad range of sectors including financial services, tourism, charity, retail, news media, education, entertainment and sports. Criteria for award winning websites include well written content, accessibility, cutting edge design, usability and support in conjunction with a well maintained website.

This year’s awards ceremony will take place on November 18th and will once again recognise and showcase online excellence.

The aim is to encourage innovation and creativity in the digital arena and following the response last year it looks set to become a major event for young up-and-coming web designers. For students who wish to pursue a career in the industry, the awards and the projects undertaken can open many doors for them providing access to influential industry leaders.
