13 New Jobs With Calor Gas

LPG supplier Calor has announced that it will spend €10m on a growth programme that will include the creation of 13 jobs.

Calor said funding will be provided over a three year timeframe by its parent company SHV Energy and will be used for an all-island growth programme that will specifically target an enhanced offering in the areas of:

  • Sales
  • Customer support
  • Engineering IT and
  • Marketing

Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation Richard Bruton described the announcement as a very welcome boost. “This investment represents a vote of confidence in the domestic economy and will result in the creation of 13 jobs. I wish Calor every success with this project”.

Calor’s CEO Tom O’Carroll said the funding strongly highlights the confidence SHV Energy has in Ireland and the standard of his company’s operations. “Securing of this investment is an important strategic win for Calor and Ireland,” he said.

Calor currently employs more than 250 staff in six sites located across its all-island operations, and a further 200 indirectly.
